What We Offer

Learn more about our ministries for kids.

Children’s Church

Kids can worship and learn in a kid-friendly setting during our Children's Church services. With age-appropriate music, lessons, and activities, children have the opportunity to encounter Jesus in a way that's relevant and meaningful to them.

Nursery

Our nursery is thoughtfully designed to provide a secure and nurturing environment for children. We have two dedicated areas: one for babies aged 6 weeks to 24 months and another for toddlers aged 2 years through potty training. Each space is carefully crafted to meet the unique needs of these age groups and is supervised by our trusted, background-checked volunteers!

FAQs

  • What will my child learn in Purpose Kids?

In Purpose Kids, your child will learn biblical truths in fun and engaging ways. Our goal is to bring the stories to life through object lessons, fun activities, interactive worship, and deep discussions. We want every child to grow in relationship with God and to learn that we all have been created with a purpose.

  • How do I check my child in?

If you are a first time visitor to Purpose Kids, we have some questions for you to complete to get your family entered into our database. Once your profile is complete, you will then be able to securely check into Planning Center and receive a child tag along with a parent tag with a unique code. You could also utilize our system via Church Center and check your child into service. You will receive a QR code that you can bring to the check-in stations to have scanned. You will then receive your child and secure parent tag.

  • What security measures are in place to ensure my child is safe at Purpose Kids?

Safety is a priority of ours in Purpose Kids. We utilize all security measures to ensure our Kids Area remains a secure area. Each child is signed in to our system and security stickers are provided to each parent with a unique code each time you visit Purpose Kids.

We have a security officer stationed in the Kids Area throughout service and every Purpose Kids volunteer has completed a background check and has been trained to offer quality care to your child.

At the end of service, only parents with the security tag are admitted to the Kids Area. This helps cut down on traffic while parents are picking up their children. We also utilize the check-out process within our system to verify all children are picked up safely. If we need to contact you during service, we will send a text first. If we don’t receive a response, we will then show your security number up on the screens located in the Main Auditorium to let you know you are needed in the Kids Area.

  • What age groups are included in Purpose Kids?

In Purpose Kids, there is a classroom for all children under 5th grade. Our Nursery 1 is home to babies from 6 weeks to 24 months. Nursery 2 hosts our two year olds through the potty-training season. Once your child has mastered potty-training, they move up to our Pre-K classroom. They stay in this class until they enter Kindergarten. At that time they graduate to our Elementary classroom which is for our Kindergarten through 4th grade.

  • Can I attend service while my child is in Purpose Kids?

Of course! Once your child has been checked in to Purpose Kids and dropped off at their classroom, you are free to attend service in the Main Auditorium. If we need to contact you, we will text you or flash your security code on the screens in the Main Auditorium.

  • Are there child dedications at Purpose House Church?

At Purpose House, we have quarterly child dedications. The form to register for this dedication service can be found here.

Once your form is submitted, a family pastor will reach out to you with more information and to answer any questions you may have!
